Catasticta fulva
Local and uncommon(?) 1600-1900 m. Puddles. I believe my photos represent the only Cusco records of this species (it is known from Central and Northern Peru), and the individuals do not look like the geographically closest subspecies (anaranjada, from Ayacucho); it could represent an undescribed subspecies.

Catasticta paucartambo
Rare at 3100-3400 m., probably confined to upper reaches of semi-humid valleys. The individual from Paucartambo shown below was floating in a ditch during rain, and may not have been puddling; I suspect this species does not puddle but probably visits flowers.
Similar species: VHW submarginal 'drumsticks' combined with D pattern is distinctive among species I've encountered. C. vilcabamba (described from remote areas of the Cordillera Vilcabamba, in north/central Cusco) is very similar but has less extensive submarginal and marginal markings DHW.
